Yes, It's been a while, I've been on a blogging hiatus for a few months. The reasons are varied and include juggling working 30 hours a week in retail with full time uni (honours year), living out of home and being constantly distracted by beguiling housemates and in general life getting well and truly in the way, as often happens. But new exciting things have also happened, the first of which was me quitting my job in surf/street retail for a new job at Sportsgirl. The most exciting thing about this new position is thatSportsgirl is pretty much the Australian equivalent of Topshop and we all know how obsessed I am with Topshop! So a new passion for retail is great and has really lifted my spirits.
Well because it's been so long, I feel like I have everything to blog about and nothing to blog about, so I'm just going to start small and show you something amazing I found today at hoiming, this brand says that they try to create bags with reasons and surprises, they aim to challege the notion of useage (how it is carried). These bags amaze me, to me, this is true creative design, it is high-end design, but because of its humour or 'frank-ness' it remains accessible.
So next post, something for the men, I'm going to assemble some of my favourite looks for men, and dissect them for you, until then, farewell fair readers!
